The major Clemson intersection–U-S 123 and SC 133–awaits the asphalt trucks this weekend.  Clemson announces that the DOT will start the intersection re-paving Sunday.  Falling temperatures require this work to take place during daytime.  Anticipated finish date is Thursday, November 2.  Motorists can expect delays and extended travel times.

West Union will once again be a two police officer town.  Mayor Oliver announces that Andrew Dyar, former Westminster policeman, will join the force on Monday morning.  Dyar is familiar with the small town, having served in the past as a reserve officer.
