The four men running for three Walhalla city council seats next month are invited tonight to speak on what they stand for.  The setting will be the Walhalla Depot at 6:30, and the public is invited to hear Lamar Bailes, Robbie Burrell, Dennis Owens, and Josh Roberts.  It’s a chamber of commerce-sponsored event.

Construction crews are scheduled to return for a second day of work to set the beams at the 133/College Avenue train trestle at Clemson.  Those traveling that busy area should expect delays and road closures off and on during the day.

An electrical fire this morning in Westminster.  Oconee County dispatch reports a power line fell on Simpson Street and created a fire.  Some power outages resulted.  City repair crews were called around 3 am.
