Austin Riley 439-foot, three-run homer in the seventh inning broke open Atlanta’s 6-0 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Wednesday and helped the Braves avoid their first three-game losing streak of the season.

 Filip Chytil has found his scoring touch and it’s helping the New York Rangers get on quite a roll.  Chytil scored twice in the second period and the Rangers routed the two-time defending Stanley Cup champion Tampa Bay Lightning 6-2 on Wednesday night in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals.

The Colorado Avalanche hung on to defeat the Edmonton Oilers 8-6 in Game 1 of the Western Conference finals Tuesday night, but the home team lost starting goaltender Darcy Kuemper to an upper-body injury in the process.  Tonight it’s game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals with Tampa Bay at New York Rangers at 8pm.
