Word is received of an accident in which someone fell from a falls, and a medi-helicopter is being arranged at the D-W Daniel High School near Central to transport the injured individual.

A billfold was lost about 10 o’clock last night at or near an ice-making machine on Westminster’s E. Main Street near the Dollar Store.  The owner, William Sanford, is offering a $100 dollar reward for its return.  Sanford may be reached at 864/280-5245.

An SUV and a pickup truck collided, accounts indicate head-on, in a late afternoon crash yesterday in northern Oconee County on SC 130, near the water bottling plant.  According to Salem Fire and Rescue, three of the injured were child-age, and one of them was airlifted out of precaution to an out of county hospital.  Ground transportation carried five others […]

At a glance, a serious late morning traffic accident in Seneca.  However, according to the first police report, no one hurt.  The accident had westbound traffic blocked inside the By-Pass intersection at SC 130/the Rochester Highway.

If nature cooperates, Walhalla will begin to see sidewalk work this week.  Celia Myers, city administrator, says it’s not new sidewalk, but repairs to many of Walhalla’s crumbling pedestrian paths.  HDH Construction is the contractor, and Myers says the first of the repairs will take place at Main and N. Tugaloo streets.
