A source tipped 101.7/WGOG NEWS to a state work project at the bridge crossing over Cane Creek on SC 183/N. Catherine Street, Walhalla.  Maintenance work there has been confirmed.  Hannah Robins, media relations manager for the DOT, says, “The DOT bridge maintenance crew was performing some repairs under the bridge.  The work is expected to be finished in a month.”
