A “State of Six Mile” dinner will take place Thursday evening, July 25.  Interested members of the public are invited to the $25 dollar-a-ticket event at the Six Mile Town Hall.  Among the speakers:  Mayor James Atkinson.  A special presentation from the South Carolina Municipal Association is also planned.  

Part of Clemson’s Keowee Trail is closed starting today to allow the Fowler Corporation to install storm drainage infrastructure as part of the 412 College Project.  The work could take two weeks.  To access Abernathy Park, enter from 123; for businesses opposite the road closure, enter from College Avenue.

A zoning appeal at a WS 3rd Street address will be heard tonight at the Seneca City Hall.  The city board of appeals will consider a request by Jason Brewer for relief from the setback rules as they apply at 315 WS 3rd Street.  The hearing starts at 6 o’clock.
