In spite of a lack of support from some of his colleagues, Walhalla councilman Tjay Bagwell says he’s going forward with public information meetings, as his way to lobby the citizenry to pay higher taxes, to allow the city to make improvements. Bagwell, the mayor pro-tem, says once he sets the schedule, he’ll announce the meetings.

Walhalla’s 200 S. Catherine Streets sports new windows, to the great relief of the friends and supporters of Old St. John’s Meeting House.
