City of Clemson has announced meetings at which officials are to devote attention to a major change at the home development Patrick Square. A planning commission workshop at 6 Tuesday night at City Hall will address the matter, so will  an informal public meeting at 5 o’clock Monday, October 8. All members of the public are welcome to attend.

James Barker, Clemson president, has accepted an invitation to be part of a panel discussion Monday in Washington, D.C. During a Department of Commerce event, Barker is to show how education and research initiatives at I-CAR, the Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research, and the Clemson Restoration Institute in N. Charleston have helped drive economic development across the state.
