State troopers report two accidents involving deer and motor vehicles in Oconee County since last night. The latest such accident occurred shortly before 3:30 this morning at U-S 123 and South Carolina 11. Earlier there was a deer-vehicle accident at Coneross Creek and Friendship roads.

The engineering and industrial technology division of Tri-County Technical College has renamed and revamped its manufacturing management program. The program underwent a title change last month and is now called Manufacturing Management and Leadership. According to Stan Compton, program coordinator, to better reflect the skills of a first-line manager in today’s manufacturing facilities.
