State troopers report a car accident on SC 59 near Seneca.  The accident shortly after 2:30 this afternoon has resulted in injuries.

The Seneca High School Honors Chorale earned a superior rating on both the performance and sight singing divisions of the SC State Choral Festival in Columbia. The Honors Women’s Chorus also received a Superior Rating on their choral performance and the sight singing portion of the competition. This is the Honors Choir’s eighteenth performance at the SC State Choral Festival.

Apparently someone has possible interest today in locating an industrial manufacturing operation within the Upstate. The Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative’s Charles Dalton suddenly left a luncheon meeting at Clemson. And the explanation given was that the Blue Ridge general manager was headed for a meeting with an industrial prospect in Anderson County.
