The closure of Clemson’s Keowee Trail for the 412 College Project has been extended to Thursday, the result of weather delays, according to a city of Clemson announcement.

Walhalla lifted the boil advisory yesterday that applied to Walhalla Gardens and surrounding streets and neighborhoods.  According to the city, test results show the water is safe for drinking and cooking purposes.

By increasing membership by 12, the Walhalla Rotary Club received a shout out in this month’s 7750 district publication of Rotary International.  Walhalla Rotarians, members of what’s considered a small club, increased their membership rolls from 22 to 34.  For Rotary, August is a month for membership development and recruitment.
