Library receives new gutters and downspouts

The color of the gutters and downspouts at the Westminster Library now matches the trim of the building.  The roof was replaced before Christmas.  A work crew yesterday finished installing new gutters and downspouts as the last project of $150 thousand dollars of repairs, retro-fits and renovations to the three library buildings owned by Oconee County—at Westminster, Seneca, and Walhalla.

Governor to speak in Oconee

Henry McMaster will make his first speaking appearance in Oconee County since becoming South Carolina governor.  The state’s 117th governor will keynote next month’s State of Oconee Luncheon.  It’s to be a $25 dollar a plate affair from 12 noon to 1:30 Friday, February 17 at West-Oak Middle School.  Tickets are available from the Oconee Chamber of Commerce.
