A City Hall hearing in Seneca will determine whether a property owner may vary from zoning regulations covering property on the 123 By-Pass.  A city official says the property is just west of the certified public accountants’ office near the overhead bridge.  The board of zoning appeals will hear property owner Jerald Wilbanks’ request at 6 o’clock.

Two empty store buildings in downtown Walhalla are under new ownership.  City councilman Tjay Bagwell, an attorney, says he handled the paper work this week on the closings for the sale of the buildings.  One of the buildings is the former headquarters of the Red Cross.    

Georgia law enforcement authorities arrested a 26-year old man whom the Walhalla police have been looking for since November. Walhalla Capt.
