Battle versus opioid abuse nets eight arrests

Oconee law enforcement’s battle against opioids produced eight arrests this week in and near Seneca. According to the Sheriff’s Office, search warrants on Daniel Avenue and Brookwood Drive off 123 resulted in the arrests Tuesday of individuals in an investigation with the Seneca Police of controlled buys of narcotics involving heroin and methamphetamine.
