Once again, there is a drop in first-time unemployment claims filed by members of the Oconee workforce.  For the week ended May 30, Oconee’s first-time claimants fell to 234–from the previous week’s 340.  Below 1,000 numbers continue to be reported by Pickens County (400) and by Anderson County (838).  But in larger Greenville, there were 1,800 first-time claimants.  The number […]
