Arrest in gas station car theft

A 22-year old Anderson man has been arrested in the investigation of a car stolen last month at a Fair Play gas station.  Law enforcement authorities list the following charges against Chase Alexander McKinney:  grand larceny and possession/sell/dispose of stolen vehicle greater than $10 thousand value.  On October 9 at Bubba’s Mobil station on Fair Play’s Herring Road, Richard Walden said someone jumped out of a Chevy Silverado and took his Kia Cadenza which Walden had left running in the parking area.  McKinney was arrested Saturday.
