Area young women to compete for Miss Oktoberfest

Fourteen young ladies will compete in the 39th Miss Oktoberfest Pageant this Sunday, October 3rd, at 4:00 P.M. at Walhalla Middle School.  The contestants, who are all enrolled in an Oconee County high school, will compete in interview, casual, and formal wear competitions.  The mistress of ceremonies for the event is Isabella Covington, who will also provide entertainment. Tickets are $7.00 and will be sold at the door.

 

Reagan Turner, Miss Oktoberfest 2019, will be relinquishing her title to the new winner who will reign over the annual Oktoberfest in Walhalla October 15-17.  Miss Oktoberfest 2021 will receive a $500 scholarship, and, in addition, four runners up will be named.

Tessa Backman, Walhalla High School junior; Drew Bailey, Walhalla High School Senior; Kaylee Crowe, West-Oak High School Freshman; Grace Evans, Walhalla High School sophomore; Maggie Gambrell, West-Oak High School freshman; Jasmine Gubbins, West-Oak High School junior; Leah Johns, Seneca High School sophomore; Anna Marie Moore, West-Oak High School senior; Lili Padgett, Walhalla High School senior; Harlie Poore, Walhalla High School junior; Madison Roper, West-Oak High School senior; Megan Shadwick, Seneca High School senior; Katie Woody, Walhalla High School freshman; Emma Wright, Walhalla High School junior.

 

Miss Oktoberfest is produced and directed by Greg Bearden and Eddie Payne of GC Pageants, LLC.
