53-year old killed in crash north of Salem

A 53-year old woman from the Kershaw County town of Elgin was killed in a multiple-vehicle accident late yesterday afternoon near Salem.  Authorities say her car crossed the centerline of 130, the Whitewater Falls Road, and hit a westbound dump truck.  The crash ultimately involved a third vehicle.  Coroner Addis says the name of the deceased will be released today, once notifying her family has been completed.
