Arrest made in Tuesday Oconee County crime

A car stolen in Oconee County Tuesday afternoon was found in Anderson County, and the man accused of stealing the Dodge Charger is in jail.  Anderson County Sheriff’s Office notified Oconee County that they placed in custody Columbia resident Karriem Lushon Agner Jr.  Twenty-two year old Agner is now in Oconee jail, facing multiple charges.  According to the Oconee Sheriff’s Office, Agner is charged with first degree burglary, armed robbery with a deadly weapon, petty and grand larceny, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and pointing and presenting a firearm at a person.  Late Tuesday afternoon an Oconee deputy started an investigation at a home at the Pier student housing complex.  Agner is accused of stealing a gun and taking car keys and an IPhone and driving away in the Dodge.
