At Clemson, more students and more housing
With classes to start next week, Clemson University has yet to project student enrollment for a new academic year. But there is concern on the part of Clemson city officials. The city’s planning commission will convene a workshop Monday, August 22—in part to talk about a possible increase in student enrollment and a correlated increase in student housing. There has been a building boom throughout Clemson for several months. At the start of last year, the university reported 21,000 undergraduate and graduate students, including a freshman class of 3,475.
