Consummating a deal at 664 Rock Crusher Road

From a private meeting to an open meeting.  Oconee County Council next week will be asked to sign off on a land deal.  The county staff recommends the purchase of a parcel of land at 664 Rock Crusher Road, Walhalla for the price of $200 thousand.  The agenda for Tuesday’s meeting states that County Administrator Scott Moulder negotiated the purchase of the property, located near the county quarry, for a contract price of $200 thousand.  According to the explanation for the purchase, council unanimously approved the administrator to negotiate a purchase contract as discussed August 18 in executive session.
