Seneca rolls past Walhalla; Daniel opens region with win over West-Oak
In 96.3 WGOG’s High School Football Broadcast Game of the week Friday, the Seneca Bobcats opened Western AAA play with a convincing 56-13 win over Walhalla at Bobcat Stadium. Seneca quarterback Spencer Brothers was 6-0f-7 passing for 101 yards and two touchdowns, but most of the damage was done on the ground thanks to Player of the Game Marquis Arnold. Arnold rushed 7 times for 90 yards and two touchdowns, and opened the third quarter with a 99-yard kick-off return for a score. The Bobcats are home next week to face Wren, while Walhalla is home in our broadcast game to face Belton-Honea Path.
Elsewhere Friday night, Daniel rolled to a 76-0 win over West-Oak at Singleton Field. The Warriors return to Westminster next week, still in search of their first win of the season, facing Emerald.
