Joyce Evelyn Smith
Westminster – Joyce Smith, 67, passed away on Thursday, August 1st, 2024, at her residence.
Joyce was born in Toccoa, Ga and lived in Westminster, SC. Joyce was the daughter of the late E.D. and Winnie Smith. Joyce was of the Baptist faith.
Joyce is survived by daughters: Stephanie Whitlock (Travis) of Westminster, SC, Audrey Burdette (Scott) of Walhalla, SC along with her granddaughter Kali.; step-daughter Josie Reeves (Mike) of Salem SC; step-son, Travis Wilbanks (Mary) of Silverthorne, Co; her son, Barry Drinkard (Kerri) of Spotsylvania, Va; brothers: Donald, Russell, Greg and James Smith of Westminster, SC; sisters: Virginia Jones of Toccoa, Ga, Carol Smith of Westminster, SC and Opal Krauel of Maryland. Joyce had 16 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren who she loved and cared for deeply.
Joyce is preceded in death by her brothers: Guy, Vic, Rodney and Steve Smith, and her grandson, Hobbie Turner.
A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, August 5th, 4:00pm at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at a later date.
Joyce will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Flowers are accepted.
