Young man sought in 2020 shooting near Westminster

The police in Westminster say they are looking for a man wanted in the investigation of gunfire at a home on 123/the Toccoa Highway nearly three months ago.  Law enforcement authorities identify the suspect as Alejandro Cruz Jr.  Cruz is accused on September 20 of firing a gun into a home and vehicles in the driveway while the victims were on the porch.  He is considered to be armed and dangerous and should not be approached.  If you have information as to the whereabouts of Alejandro Cruz Jr. you are asked to call the Westminster police at 647-3222 or the Oconee Sheriff’s Office at 648-4111.
