You can drop in and register your ideas

An event today at the Seneca Library is an opportunity for Oconeeans who live in District Three to make their say count when it comes to the kind of a county Oconee will be in the next 10 years. The Oconee Planning Office is gathering public opinion on what kinds of things should be made part of the 2030 Comprehensive Plan. The drop-in will run from 4 to 6 this evening. Planner Bill Huggins says, “It’s a drop-in, so no long presentations will be involved. It’s about participation and receiving input and ideas from citizens. The focus will be District Three Council District, but it’s certainly not limited to that area.”
