Willie Roy Kendrick
Westminster- Willie Roy Kendrick, 78, husband of Patricia “Pat” Ann Edwards Kendrick, passed away May 3rd, 2021 at Cottingham Hospice House.
Born in Townville, South Carolina, he was the son of the late John David Kendrick and Alice Belle Duke Kendrick. Roy worked with the Town of Westminster in the electrical department and later retired from Duke Power as a nuclear maintenance specialist. Roy was a United States Army Reserve Veteran, he enjoyed playing golf, was a member of the Westminster Masonic Lodge #200, and a member of Westminster First Baptist Church.
Roy is survived by his wife Patricia “Pat” Ann Edwards Kendrick; two sons, Tim Kendrick of Indiana, Michael Kendrick and wife Michelle of Liberty, sister, Mary Ann Jennings of Westminster; one grandchild Haley Brown; one great grandchild Josphine Ann Coble.
In addition to his parents, Roy is preceded in death by a brother David Kendrick.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2 pm, Wednesday, May 5th, 2021 at the chapel of Sandifer Funeral Home with burial to follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens the family will receive friends from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm, Wednesday, May 5th, 2021 at Sandifer Funeral Home.
The family is at the residence.
