What appeared to be disabled vehicle turned into drug arrest

A camouflage bag containing nearly 250 grams of meth was seized April 24 at SC 24/the West-Oak Highway, at Bruce Road. A patrolling deputy saw what she first took to be a broken down motorcycle.  But later, 36-year-old Westminster resident James Henry Nix was arrested on a warrant charging methamphetamine trafficking.  Nix remained in jail under a surety bond of $100 thousand.
