Westminster outlaws the burying of commercial and demolition waste

From here on, it’s no longer legal to bury commercial and demolition waste on private property in Westminster.  City Council this week gave second and final reading to an ordinance amendment. “It is a health and safety consideration,” said Chris Carter, city administrator. Westminster residents who have the need to get rid of such waste now have two options: leave it on the curb for curbside pickup or take it to the county’s commercial and demolition landfill at Seneca.
