Want to be a fire chief, see Dan Alexander

With Jan Oliver’s retirement just days away, the job he leaves behind is posted at the Seneca City Hall. For those interested in being the next city fire chief, Mayor Alexander is the one to send cover letter, resume and references. Seneca lists the following desired minimum qualifications: associate degree in fire science, public administration or closely related field; ten years’ experience in fire service work, three of which must have been in a supervisory capacity; completion of fire basic training academy, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
