Walhallan arrested after West Union incident

The investigation of a suspicious person complaint yesterday in West Union led sheriff’s officers to E. Railroad Street where they encountered a man walking alongside the railroad track. Their investigation led to charges of giving false information and possession of methamphetamine against Christian Alexander Durecki. According to the Sheriff’s Office, officers found nearly one-half of a gram of meth in his book bag. At first, they say, Durecki gave a false name.
