Walhalla High Athletic Director Releases Spectator Guidelines

We are very excited to welcome Parents, Students, Fans, and Staff back to Walhalla High School for the 2020 – 2021 Athletic Season. The goal of the Walhalla High School Athletic Department is to preserve the opportunities and experiences of interscholastic competition within the safest conditions possible in the environment of COVID-19. Spectators will be asked to self-monitor and avoid attending activities when experiencing any of the symptoms of COVID -19. It is important to understand that the willingness of spectators to cooperate will impact the ability of Walhalla High School to maintain in-person attendance and student athletic participation.

Masks: Masks are required for ALL spectators at ALL events. This includes indoor as well as outdoor athletic events. This is per the South Carolina High School League.

Social Distancing: Six feet of social distancing will be maintained.

Spectator Capacity: We are only allowed 900 tickets on the home side of the football stadium and 250 for the entire gym.

All Sports Passes and Reserved Football Seats: – Due to the uncertainty and changing landscape of education-based athletics, we have decided to suspend the sale of All -Sports passes and Reserved football seats to athletic events at this time. With restrictions in attendance at athletic events, it is impossible to guarantee that pass holders or reserved seat holders would receive admission. We appreciate your understanding. We will continue to communicate as things change moving forward.
