Walhalla group to host political forum

A group that strives for a better quality of Walhalla life will enter the political arena this fall when it plays host to a forum for the men and women who qualify as candidates for the city’s 2019 election.  At its meeting last night, the Partners for Progress voted to host the forum likely some night in October, in advance of the November 5 election day.  Walhalla voters this year get to choose a mayor and fill three of the six council seats.  David Lyle, Partners president, said his group will check to see if the Community Depot would be available as the location for the forum.  Further details to be announced.
