Walhalla football Razors to play pre-season tilt in Florida

The Walhalla football Razorbacks have filled a hole in their 2019 schedule with a date on the road against a school in Florida. And the prospects for this year’s Razors are described as happy after being told by their coach, Padgett Johnson. Johnson says the game will take place August 23 in Orlando. The likely opponent will be the Wildwood High School Wildcats of Wildwood, Florida. It’s going to be a bus trip for between 45 and 47 Walhalla boys, and their coaches are going to treat the game as if it were a bowl game. The Razors are coming off one of their better seasons in contemporary times, having finished 7-4 overall after reaching the opening week of playoffs. Johnson says his team will return several good players and they’ll re-start work outs this month. The team will organize fundraisers between now and August to raise money to finance the trip.
