Trial in Day 2

An Oconee General Sessions jury is hearing testimony in the second day of SC v. Jaime Mamian Motta.  He’s charged with kidnapping and criminal sexual conduct, the result of his arrest more than two years ago.  This morning the prosecution called to the stand Ellen Kennedy of Prisma Health.  A nurse, Kennedy is in charge of sexual assault patient cases for Prisma Health Upstate hospitals, including Oconee Memorial.  West Union Police Chief Ben Hailey testified for about one hour yesterday as the prosecution first witness.
