Trail and greenway connection possible for Oconee

The head of an upstate life quality organization says a workshop held yesterday in Oconee County proves that there’s interest for the Golden Corner to make a trail and greenway connection that can offer exercise, recreation, and tourism benefits. Dean Hybl’s Ten at the Top staged a workshop meeting yesterday at the Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative for Oconeeans to brainpower ideas to connect trails and greenways in Oconee and beyond. Among the speakers was the Travelers Rest mayor whose Greenville County town is finishing its connection with the Swamp Rabbit Trail and already enjoying a flood of visitors to her town.
