Today’s COVID numbers in the state and the county

For a second day in a row, the South Carolina positivity stayed at 4.7% — meaning that of all test results received for the 24-hour count that finished Tuesday night, 4.7% of 11,348 tests for COVID-19 were positive.  In the report today, DHEC confirmed 229 new cases of the virus statewide — eight in Oconee County. Added to the death toll across the state:  14 South Carolinians, including two elderly Anderson County residents.
