Thomas Jessop, Sr.

 Salem – Thomas Hall Jessop, Sr., 82, husband of Janice Amelia Lewis, 11 Marina Village Way, passed away Monday, May 14, 2018 at his residence.

 

   Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Stuart Morris and Myrtle Augusta Smith Jessop.  Mr. Jessop retired from Kraft Foods where he was the Regional Vice President and was of the Presbyterian Faith.

 

   Survivors in addition to his wife include sons, Thomas Hall Jessop, Jr. of Wyoming and James Joseph Jessop of Seneca; daughter, Susan Michelle Biggerstaff (Mike) of Lindenhurst, IL; and seven grandchildren, Shelagh Jessop Counts, Joshua Jessop, Austin Jessop, Skyler Jessop, Christopher Holbach (Shelby), Gage Biggerstaff (Amanda), and Trevor Biggerstaff; and five great-grandchildren, J.T. Jessop, Julian Counts, Teghan Holbach, Clairity Holbach, and Myles Biggerstaff.

 

   In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Geroge Zepp and Richard “Dick” Jessop; sisters, Catherine Henschen, Lois Rief and Vera Price; and granddaughter, Brittany Holbach.

 

   A memorial service will be held at a later date.
