Mixed results on the rollout

We are hearing of early successes among some Oconeeans trying for vaccine appointments.  A Walhalla couple say they reserved appointments with
AnMed by calling that hospital directly and, we are also told, that a Westminster man made arrangements through Ingle’s supermarkets in the county.  But at least three of our listeners are complaining this morning they had little or no luck at all in availing themselves of the DHEC Care Line number and the web address for pursuing the vaccine.  Most disappointed has been Thurmond Coward, former Salem mayor.  Coward said when he opened the web address he found that Prosperity and Chester (at least at that time) were the closest places with vaccine available.  DHEC is holding another briefing today, and we expect the first day rollout difficulties will be addressed and explained.
