The chamber bids farewell to Crystal

For only a short time did Crystal Romanyszn serve as the executive director of the Oconee Chamber of Commerce.  But it was long enough for a number of the membership to be impressed with how she was able to change for the better the organized voice of the county’s business community.  This was evidenced by the chamber’s after-hours yesterday, held at a Seneca restaurant and hosted by the Tamassee DAR School.  When asked if she could make a suggestion or recommendation as to how the chamber can better acquit itself going forward, Romanyszn told 101.7/WGOG NEWS she can only say good things about the chamber and Oconee and is confident that, in the hands of her successor, Dari Mullins, only good will result.  Romanyszn is headed for a larger locale, Norman, Oklahoma, where she will join a valued professional from her past to promote economic development in that large Oklahoma municipality that is home to the University of Oklahoma.
