Target, yes; Costco’s no

According to a Facebook post by Matthew Durham, Oconee’s new shopping center on the Sandifer Boulevard will feature a Target as anchor store.  Phase 1 of what’s referred to as Thornwell Village shopping center, the county council chairman says, will also include four junior anchor tenants and five smaller shops, along with seven outparcels.  But speculation about two other prominent stores, Durham says, both Costco and Sam’s Club are not coming.
