Senecan faces charges in two states

Casey Bowling, Seneca police chief, says city police were assisted in their search for Wednesday night’s shooting suspect by NCIC – the National Crime Information Center – and by authorities near Atlanta.  Bowling says Emmanuel Onius Williams was apprehended by Gwinnett County authorities within a couple of hours after Williams allegedly shot three people outside a Seneca apartment complex on Fairfield Drive. In Seneca, Bowling says, 20-year-old Williams will face three charges of attempted murder; in Gwinnett, Williams faces obstruction and failure to stop.  Thursday night Bowling was unsure of the conditions of the wounded, although one was going into surgery.  He called what happened at 6:30 at the Greenfield Apartments a domestic situation – to which 9-1-1 was called by one of the shooting victims.
