Seneca Teenager Arrested for Attempted Murder

A Seneca teenager sits behind bars on two counts of attempted murder. The Central Police Department reports that 17-year-old Kevin Bernard Holden shot at two people over the weekend, injuring both of them. The incident occurred in the early-morning hours on Sunday at an address on Amanda Drive. Officers with the Central Police Department responded to the scene and discovered a victim with a gunshot wound to the neck and another with a gunshot wound to the leg. Police said both teenage victims were transported to the hospital and are expected to recover. Holden is currently being held in the Pickens County Detention Center without bond on two counts of attempted murder, unlawful carrying of a firearm and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime. The Central Police Department said the investigation is ongoing.
