Seneca student candidate for Presidential Scholar

A senior at Seneca High School, Tucker Ann Norris, was named today one of more than 4,500 candidates in this year’s Presidential Scholars Program.  Inclusion in this program is one of the highest honors for graduating high school seniors.  Scholars are selected for superior academic and artistic achievements, leadership qualities, strong character, and involvement in community and school activities.  In April, about 600 semifinalists will be selected.  The following month, the Commission on Presidential Scholars will select the finalists, and the U-S Department of Education will announce the winners.
