Roy Williams
Westminster – Roy Donald Williams, 86, husband of the late Virgie Nell Fricks King Williams passed away Friday, March 26th, 2021 at Prisma Cottingham Hospice House.
Roy was born in Oconee County, South Carolina, to the late James Herbert Williams and Lavenia “Vonnie” Whitten Williams. Roy was a United States Air Force Veteran and worked as an electrical foreman and was a member of Chauga Baptist Church.
Roy is survived by his niece, Sharon Williams Bowen of Westminster; sister-in-law, Geneva Miles Williams of Westminster; daughter-in-law, Cynthia Williams of Westminster; four grandchildren, Paul King, Richard Williams, and wife Kay, Jason Williams and wife Missy, Lisa Williams Herbert and husband Richard; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Roy was preceded in death by his wife, Virgie Nell Fricks King Williams; son, Michael D. Williams; brothers, Frank Williams, Raymond Williams, Charles Williams, Gene Williams, and Hoyt Williams; sister, Dorothy “Dot” Williams Ramey.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
