Rotary’s speaker has distinguished military background

Atlanta law firm owner Grady “Jed” Morton will bring a distinguished military background when he speaks on Veterans Day Monday to the Walhalla Rotary Club.  Growing up in Walhalla, Morton was known to his friends as “Chip.”  He’s an Air Force Academy graduate and spent 12 years as an F-16 fighter pilot, instructor pilot, and mission commander on active duty in the Air Force National Guard.  He’s a veteran of armed aerial combat in Iraq and armed ground combat in Afghanistan.  He flew 63 combat missions.  In his formative Walhalla years, Morton was a part time WGOG announcer.
