Repeat shoplifter sent to prison

After a guilty plea, an Oconee court defendant is headed to prison for repeated incidents of shoplifting this year at the Seneca Walmart.  The sentence handed down this morning sends Devin Marquis Williams to prison for a term of four years.  Judge Sprouse was told Williams shoplifted Walmart merchandise twice within a four-day period, taking items that included an air compressor valued at $278 dollars.  Before sentencing, the judge was told of Williams’ criminal record which includes previous shoplifting incidents.
