Public school enrollment holds steady, once again

No matter how much Oconee County grows, you can count on one thing. The enrollment of the public schools will always come between 10 and 11 thousand students. That’s the case, so far, this year as the numbers from the county school district for the first 15 days of the new year came in at 10, 628. Of the three high schools, Walhalla counts the most students at 1,140. Walhalla Middle sports the highest enrollment of the middle schools at 877. Seneca’s Northside Elementary topped all elementary school enrollments with 684 students.
