Potential for the virus to impact election schedules

South Carolina is one of many states going ahead with political qualifying in advance of both the primaries in June and the general election in November. But some states have stopped. What if the pandemic is still spreading by election time? How might that change the course of elective politics as we know them? A close follower of the country’s political scene is Oconee County resident Jim Bohannon. And he says while it is possible that elections can be called off, one thing is certain.
