Police call to Walhalla’s N. Church Street

Police Chief Aaron Alexander of Walhalla confirms the city police responded to a call overnight Friday to a N. Church Street home.  And, Alexander says, the police intend to announce what happened.  An email message to WGOG describes the incident as an assault on a woman who awoke to an intruder, but managed to dial 911 and detain the intruder herself before the police arrived.
