Outside attorney’s memo to be made public

In an act of transparency, to foster better public understanding, a 10-page memorandum from an outside attorney to the Oconee Joint Regional Sewer Authority will see the light of day when it is published today on the JRSA website. The JRSA commissioners gave their blessing last night, in this instance, to lifting the cloak of confidentiality between lawyer and client. The disclosure has the blessing of the JRSA’s in-house attorney, Larry Brandt. The memo addresses the next steps for the potential re-organization of the operations that provide sewer service to a large part of Oconee County.
